The students in Room 119 learned all about bats. We especially studied fruit bats in preparation for the story of Stellaluna. In the story, Stellaluna was carried by her mother one night when an owl came after her mother. Stellaluna was dropped and landed in a bird's nest. I won't give the rest away, because you have to read the book. The story is one of friendship and understanding for someone who is different from what you know.
Our class went to the Ohio Theater in Cleveland, Ohio to see the play of Stellaluna. The students have written reviews of the play. The reviews follow this post.
